I’m Carlo Lombardi, owner of CenterLine Builders. If you’re here, you’re likely thinking about improving your home, whether that’s a remodel, addition, or creating a space that better fits how you live. That’s where I come in.
I was raised in Marin and graduated from San Rafael High School before continuing my education at Santa Rosa Junior College. In 2002, I started working with Caletti Construction as a laborer. From there, I worked my way up in the field, becoming an apprentice carpenter, then a journeyman carpenter, and eventually a foreman and safety inspector.
When the downturn hit in 2009 and I was laid off, what initially felt like a setback turned into an opportunity. It gave me the time and motivation to focus on getting my contractor’s license. In 2010, after passing both the law and trade exams, I took the next step and founded CenterLine Builders.
Since then, I’ve focused on delivering solid, well-executed work and building long-term relationships with my clients. I stay hands-on throughout the process and pay close attention to the details that make a project come together the right way. Clear communication, accountability, and craftsmanship are the foundation of how I run my business.
I also believe in giving back to the trade by mentoring younger workers and helping them develop real skills and confidence. Outside of work, I stay active through fitness and martial arts, which helps keep me disciplined and focused both on and off the job.
At the end of the day, this business is built on trust. My goal is to bring your vision to life in a way that’s practical, well-built, and something you’ll be proud of for years to come.
